Condo #18: Ocean View, Second Floor

We stayed with our grown daughters & their boyfriends for 6 nights in early January 2025. It was absolutely the perfect location. So close to really great restaurants, grocery & liquor stores - all walking distance! The condo was well decorated and very clean. Perfect living space for the 6 of us, and had everything we needed. The staff were super helpful and friendly & we loved the daily cleaning service. We took advantage of ordering groceries at Hurley’s prior to our arrival & it was so great to walk into our condo with all our groceries there already, and refrigerator items put away! Great service!

I think the only thing to note is the lack of counter space in the bathrooms for your toiletries. Not a big deal but just don’t plan on spreading all your items out since there isn’t much room for that in the bathrooms.

Otherwise the beach area right in front of the condos are amazing and lots of chairs so no need to set towels (which Plantana provides which we loved) out early. We would get to the beach around 10:30-11 am every morning & there were plenty to choose from! We didn’t spend time in the small pool since the ocean was too beautiful of a view to resist. And the sunsets from the beach were breathtaking!

Our favorite family place to get together year after year. Peaceful, friendly and always a shady spot if you prefer less sun. No need to rent a car and Hurleys food delivery is very convenient. Several new moderately priced restaurants for family budgets in walking distance.

Stayed in #18, a three bedroom. The ocean view condo was gorgeous. The view from balcony was incredible, made so by the grounds presentation. Entire property is immaculate, beachfront is perfect. We have previously stayed at Plantana and several other properties along 7MB over our decades visiting the island. Plantana continues to deliver and to present as one of the best run properties on 7MB.

What more to ask for, perfect beach, beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and comfortable roomy tastefully decorated accommodations.

Beautiful property, beach & staff

We enjoy the peaceful and quiet location of Plantana on 7 Mile Beach. The condos are well managed and clean with a convenient location. Nice pool and beautiful beachfront property with shade trees. We finally gave up a car rental since there are convenient locations and markets which provide home delivery. It is our return to vacation for over ten years.

The location is amazing - right on a lovely stretch of 7 Mile Beach and in walking distance to many services (groceries, restaurants, etc.). The grounds are lovely and the unit that we rented was spotless and of a high standard.

Fabulous location right on a quiet stretch of Seven Mile Beach, friendly and efficient, condo very comfortably furnished with well equipped kitchen. Eats diner and Legendz Sports Bar are a short walk away with extensive menu to suit everyone at reasonable prices.

The condo was great and stocked with everything that you would need and the location was awesome.

The location is perfect! The condo was perfect! The grounds were beautiful.

Stayed in Unit 18 and had an amazing vacation. The unit was clean and nicely furnished, the kitchen had everything we could need and the location was the icing on the cake. We never had any issue finding a beach chair and loved daily housekeeping! If I ever get back to Cayman-i would stay here again!

Our stay at Plantana was wonderful! The property was beautiful, inside and out. The rooms and living space were spacious, and the outdoor garden spaces and beach front were incredible. The staff were so helpful and kind, and I truly appreciated every interaction with them. I would certainly recommend a staycation here for anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

This was our second time staycationing at Plantana this year and it won’t be our last!!

The resort team in the office - Kelly, Kristy and Moke - are the best and make you feel like family right from the first contact. The unit was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, and the cleaning and maintenance teams and Mr Gilbert in Security are super.

We will be back in the summer!!
