Condo #3: Garden View, Ground Floor

When we first visited Cayman in 1981, we had no idea that it would become an annual event. Not only that, but it is evolved into a magnificent family vacation experience. This now incorporates daughters, sons-in-laws, and now massive numbers of grandchildren. The housing at Plantana is perfect, and the setting even better. With an immediate access to the beach and calm blue water. it is the perfect place for a couple to get away parentheses which is what we did early in our lives) or the place to gather 21 people of all ages, Plantana has never let us down. We hope to experience many more years there.

We very much look forward to our annual stay at Plantana. This past week was everything we love about it. The staff is kind, efficient, friendly and professional. Our unit was clean and comfortable. The grounds are immaculate. I can't suggest anything that would make it better.

We stayed in Plantana #3. At first we were sad we didn’t have an ocean view but it was so quaint and easy to go in and out from the beach. We don’t travel back to many places since there’s so many places to see but we’re looking forward to coming back here in the future!! Plantana was so peaceful we cancelled dinner reservations just to hang at the beach and the pool. The beachfront is the quietest you’ll find on this side of 7 mile. Grocery and liquor is an easy 2 min walk and restaurants walking distance if you can peel yourself away. We’d like to keep this place a secret because it was so perfect but we would highly recommend!!

We have stayed here 7 different times in mostly different units. Everything about the place is really top notch except for check in and general pleasantries. The ones who have failed the most are the ones in management asking for this review. This survey is consistent with last years management as well. I felt like I was checking in with a cheap motel along any highway USA. Hardly any kind of welcome and in asking for simple assistance for an upcoming grocery order, received little assistance and felt like I was putting her off. Moke use to greet us warmly, now walks right by us like we don't belong. Last year he came up to us on the beach and rudely questioned our reservation. We let last year go by without a complaint thinking Plantana management just having a bad year. This trip was unfortunately the same.
I will mention the groundskeeper/landscapers, handy man Louise and the room staff are amazing. They have all the welcoming skills, great attitudes and overall kindness and helpfulness. We are debating another visit next year. It truly is an amazing location and well kept. Maybe we were just spoiled by the over the top treatment in years past that we somehow thought it would be the same. And who decided not to offer the cool rum punch on a Saturday when guests are paying the most in peak season. To me its laziness.

One week at Plantana is never enough! Beautiful location, gardens, water, sun, accommodations and care by staff! We had a week in paradise and want more.

Our stay at Plantana was awesome!

Plantana was such a great place to stay. Such a relaxing family atmosphere and the beach is the best I’ve ever seen!! Close to many restaurants. I will definitely be back!!!!

This was our 4th stay at Plantana and was as wonderful as all of our stays. Moke and team are friendly, professional and the vibe is family friendly and laid back. Plantana is our favorite place to stay because whether you have ocean front or garden view the views are all relaxing and inviting.

This was our third time at Plantana. It was wonderful...as usual. The gardens are lovely and we very much appreciate not being in a high rise situation with huge numbers if people. The accommodations are always superior and we especially enjoy the screened porch for our meals.
